Dylan Principi teaches the Summer Music Theory Intensive and CMSP theory classes at Temple Music Prep. He is currently a doctoral fellow in music theory at Princeton University. He holds an MA from Princeton and an MM and BM from Temple University. He has presented his research on music analysis and philosophy at national and international conferences. In 2016, the music studies faculty at Temple recognized Dylan with the B. Stimson Carrow Award for excellence in music theory pedagogy. Dylan studied saxophone with Dick Oatts, Matt Levy, and Frank Mazzeo, and flute with Jayn Rosenfeld. He has appeared with the Artosphere Festival Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, the Philly Singers, the Lansdowne Symphony Orchestra, at the Walnut Street, Horizon, and Media Theatres, and at numerous universities throughout Philadelphia.
