BIOGRAPHY

Ellen Feldman obtained a bachelor of music (magna cum laude & Presidential Scholar) in piano performance, and master of music in History and Literature at Temple University, where she was a student of Maryan Filar and Harvey Wedeen and served as an Apprentice Instructor under Professor Maria Taylor. She has been the winner of Tri-County Concerts, in the Piano Division, has lectured at Rosemont College, and was the accompanist for Mendelssohn Club of Philadelphia for 14 years. Feldman has rehearsed with Eugene Ormandy, Riccardo Muti, Zubin Mehta, Michael Tilson Thomas, Robert Shaw, Klaus Tennstedt, Rafael Fruhbeck de Burgos, Gennady Rozhdestvensky, and Sergiu Comissiona, and performed recitals with Davyd Booth (Philadelphia Orchestra), Donna Morein, Barbara Di Toro, and Brian Levesque.
