Biography
Violinist Millie Bai has over 35 years of teaching experience. Throughout her years of teaching, she has developed a unique style that is simple and effective, making her students' learning process simpler and easier. Ms. Bai has taught students of all ages and levels, and teaches violin by special arrangement at Music Prep.
Ms. Bai, student of the world renowned violin pedagogue Jascha Brodsky, studied at both at The New School of Music in Philadelphia and the Boyer College of Music and Dance. Bai received her master's degree in violin performance in May 1991. Shortly after, she was appointed by Mr. Brodsky as his teaching assistant, until his retirement from Music Prep in 1996. Bai is not only busy with teaching but also keeps and active performing schedule of orchestral and recitals with her sister and pianist, Joy Bai.
