Deadlines

Graduate Assistantships, Tuition Scholarships & Performance Grants

Submitting a University application by March 1 automatically enters a student into consideration for these awards.

Fellowships

Applicants must be fully admitted to the University by February 1. Awards are usually determined by April 15 and are made only after a student has been fully accepted into the Graduate School and into a specific graduate program.

Graduate Dance Applicants

All graduate applicants to the dance department may apply for a graduate assistantship by selecting the appropriate box on their supplemental dance program application form. Qualified applicants who meet the application deadline will be invited for a teaching audition, which involves teaching a class for dance majors or general education students on Monday or Tuesday following the general audition/interview day. Applicants will be contacted after their audition/interview if they are being invited to audition for a teaching assistantship.

Professional Studies Certificate Students

Tuition scholarships are available for Professional Studies Certificate students, however Graduate Assistantships (including Teaching Assistantships, Academic Internships and Research Assistantships) are not available.
