Part of the Department of Music Studies, the Music Technology program prepares students for jobs in the music technology field or to pursue graduate education in music technology at top graduate programs nationally. The program features an interdisciplinary sequence of increasingly rigorous courses in music and recording technology, computer science, mathematics, music performance, music studies and general education, making the program highly competitive among music technology programs in the country.

Beginning in Fall 2024, newly matriculated students in Music Technology degree programs will be required to purchase Apple laptop computers and compatible software. Learn more about this requirement.
