Joslyn G. Ewart, CFP® founded Entrust Financial® LLC, now in its 11th year as a fee-only, independent investment firm—one of the few women-owned firms in the region. Entrust is committed to open dialogue and custom investment solutions that get to the heart of what matters most to clients.
Joslyn loves it when a plan comes together; she envisions the possible and then formulates and implements a plan to achieve the desired results. In her first career as a music teacher for the School District of Philadelphia, her energy was devoted to developing classroom and performance curricula and working with thousands of students over a period of twenty years.
When it was time to move on, experiences from her formative years led to her true calling, that of investment advisor and financial planner. She was prepared to transition from employee to business owner in part because of her own commitment to saving money, a discipline she patiently embraced.
Coming full circle with respect to her passion for financial empowerment and leveling the playing field for women and underrepresented groups, in 2016 Joslyn published “Balancing Act: Wealth Management Straight Talk for Women.” All proceeds from book sales help fund the My Best Teacher Scholarship Fund, an endowed scholarship fund providing full tuition for Temple University music majors with financial need.
Joslyn’s long-standing commitment to community engagement expresses itself through financial support and the fulfillment of board leadership positions for local non-profits, often arts organizations. She currently serves as Distinguished Visiting Professor for Temple University’s Center for the Performing and Cinematic Arts.
