BIOGRAPHY 

Trumpeter Jacob Hernandez is a versatile musician who is highly active in the classical and jazz fields.

As a music educator in the Philadelphia School District, Hernandez serves five schools, specializing in brass and woodwind instruction, with an emphasis on modern band, concert band and jazz. Currently, he also co-directs the Temple Music Prep CMSP Jazz Ensembles and has a private trumpet studio. 

Hernandez has appeared at the West Oak Lane Jazz Festival, Chris' Jazz Cafe, the Mann Center, the Met and the Kimmel Cultural Campus. He lives and gigs locally in Philadelphia.
