Violinist Ruth Kiang teaches Suzuki and traditional violin lessons at Temple Music Prep. Ruth is a registered Suzuki instructor with Joanne Melvin, Marilyn O’Boyle, and Joan Krzywicki through the Suzuki Association of the Americas. She has participated in master classes with the Shanghai Quartet, Faure Quartett, Salzburg Chamber Soloists, Arianna Quartet, Maia Quartet, and the Verdehr Trio. Ruth performs with the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra, Kennett Symphony, Bay-Atlantic Symphony, among other ensembles. She is an active chamber and musical theatre musician in the Philadelphia area and has been featured on stages at the Walnut Street Theatre and Media Theatre.
