Group Instruction in Strings

The Philadelphia String Project at Temple University (PSP @ TU) serves 65-100 beginning young string players from the Philadelphia area in this weekly 3-year program incorporating group lessons and string ensembles. This program also serves as hands-on training for undergraduate music education students at Boyer College. Outside funding subsidizes the majority of the participation cost with families paying only a nominal fee.

Instruction takes place at Presser Hall on Temple University’s Main Campus on Saturday mornings. No audition is required.
