Jason O'Mara is the founder and Director of the CMSP Jazz Orchestra and Jazz Workshop at Temple Music Prep, as well as a freelance saxophonist, clarinetist, flautist, oboist, composer, arranger, and session musician. He has performed and/or recorded with Natalie Cole, Frankie Valli, Frank Sinatra, Jr., Teddy Pendergrass, Randy Brecker, James Moody, The O’Jays, the Temptations, the Bay-Atlantic Symphony, the Lancaster Symphony, the Trenton Symphony, and has performed in over 50 musical productions as a woodwind doubler. He recently toured with the original cast of the Jersey Boys and can be seen on Sony/PBS DVD production of “Love Train: The Sound of Philadelphia.” O'Mara is a founding member of the New Jersey Saxophone Quartet and has completed tours throughout US, Canada, and Europe as well as 2 recitals at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall. Past faculty positions include Immaculata University, Germantown Friends, George School, and Bensalem High School.
