Kyle Almeida is a graduate of the Boyer College of Music and Dance with bachelor of music degrees in both violin performance and music education. During his time at Temple, he served as the assistant for the Community Music Scholars Program Orchestra Upper Division and as a Philadelphia String Project intern. His primary teachers have been Meichen Barnes, Barbara Sonies and Inna Nedorezov.

Almeida currently works in the School District of Philadelphia at five different schools teaching orchestra and strings. He maintains a private studio at his home in Montgomery County and is an active performer with the Bucks County Symphony, Lower Merion Symphony and various pit orchestras in the Philadelphia area.
