Overview
The Boyer College of Music and Dance (“Boyer College”) is part of the Center for the Performing and Cinematic Arts at Temple University, which also includes the School of Theater, Film and Media Arts.Serving as the northern anchor of Philadelphia’s Avenue of the Arts, the Boyer College is in close proximity to Philadelphia's many cultural institutions, including the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, home of The Philadelphia Orchestra, Opera Philadelphia, the Academy of Music, Pennsylvania Ballet and Philadanco.
Dr. Robert T. Stroker is Dean and Vice Provost for the Arts.
