Group Instruction in Strings
The Philadelphia String Project at Temple University (PSP @ TU) serves beginning young string (upper & lower) players from the Philadelphia area in this weekly 3-year program incorporating group lessons and string ensembles. Students are taught by a Master Teacher and supported by Temple University undergraduate music education and performance string interns.
No audition or previous musical experience required. Student must provide their own instrument.
Grades: K - 6th
Instruction in: Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass
Location: Temple University, Presser Hall, 2001 N. 13th St., Philadelphia, PA 19102
Important Dates
2025-2026 Lessons, Rehearsals, and Classes will take place on Saturday morning. All regular Saturdays (not concerts) will be held at Presser Hall at Temple University's Main Campus (2001 N. 13th Street)
The first day for 2025-2026 will be September 20.
There will be no activity on November 29, December 20, December 27, January 3, February 6, and April 4.
