Julienne Ikegami teaches Suzuki and traditional violin lessons at Prep. She earned her bachelor of music in violin performance and master of music in string pedagogy at Temple University, where she studied with Barbara Sonies and Meichen Barnes. She is a registered Suzuki instructor through the Suzuki Association of the Americas and received training from James Hutchins, Martha Shackford, and Nancy Jackson. In addition to Temple Music Prep, Julienne also teaches at Community Music School and her home studio, Ikegami Music Studio. Besides teaching, she is an active freelance musician in the Philadelphia area.
